Mamaki Lemongrass - Hawaiian Tea

We am so excited to have found this wonderful small organic farmer from Mt View Hawaii, that just harvested some Mamaki. Mamaki is an endemic species that can only be found in Hawaii.  Mamaki is an ancient medicinal plant revered for its healing properties and was the sacred plant used by ancient Hawaiians.  Mamaki has an established reputation throughout Hawaiian history. Traditionally used as a universal tonic,  some of other uses of Mamaki leaves for health are for cleansing, detox, and to combat symptoms of fatigue, even though its naturally caffeine free. Native Hawaiians historically noted that Mamaki has a soothing effect on the nervous system often relieving tension. It works well for irritability and helps relieve stress after a hard day.
